james p Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 at the moment im juggling my options on where to go with my 2 door i want to ger a re spray sort out the body and giv it a little fiddle under the bonnet but when i add up the outlay im not sur if i should sell it and try to find a mint/very good shell/car for my money . what would i be able to get ror my car as she is . i know the as much as some one is willing to pay but how much as a rough guide spec- 2 door mk2 escort good floor althogh been patched few minor scabs and dents around the outside (could be repaired in a week end) 7x13 banded steels spax rear shoks -2"springs and blocks goodridge brake hoses 1600 x-flow +90 bore big valve head twin40 carbs unknown cam ashley system buckets harnesses half cage steering wheel overall the car isnt too bad im just being picky the grassis always greener and all that

Personally I would tidy yours up and see how you feel about it - it'll be worth more if its tidy. If you replace it you could be getting into the same bag again and probably pay over the odds.
