MK1 Cortina appreciation thread.

I Just love mk1 cortinas.

 

I also like to collect pictures. I have a thing for period pictures from their heyday.

 

Heres my favourite mk1 pictures, some i think you would all agree are great.

 

Its not just mk1 though, theres a few others too which cut the mustard.

 

Ive got loads more but i dont fancy syphoning through them all.

 

ENJOY! And maybe you could add some of your own, doesnt have to be mk1's either.

This Mini has a Rover (buick at the time) V8 hanging out the back. Apparently the handling was horrendous but if you knew how to drive it there was nothing to touch it. Youd use the weight of the engine to steer the car thus scrubbing off speed.
