I was behind a lorry this morning and you know how slow they can be but the dick head behind decides to overtake as he pulls out he comes face to face with a lorry coming the other way so he cuts me up. well you can imagine what i was calling him. He nearly caused an accident and he didnt get any further than the lorry as he couldnt over take anymore. Some people are so impatient. I want to fix a lazer to my car so I can zap them off the road.
Hilux Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 being a lorry driver i see it everyday, i just think its funny now, they are so impatient that some end up doing a spot of grasstracking when the trailer cuts a corner whilst they are trying to overtake
Burns Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 yeah, i mean if you're stuck behind a lorry for 10 mins doing 20mph less than you would otherwise be doing then you're only losing a few minutes at best people just don't put things in perspective

ZetecVan 2.0 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 We saw this on sunday on the way to the lakes meet. An Audi screamed past us on the a64 (country road) closely followed by a Saxo. They carried on overtaking the cars in front, including on a blind bend. Dicks.
X-pack-Glyn Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 why oh why do lorry drivers insist on overtaking up dual carriageways about 0.5mph faster than the lorry they are overtaking, some of em take bleedin ages,causing a half mile tailback in the overtaking lane. i see they are proposing banning lorries from overtaking on a stretch of the A14.
