young anglia 105e Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Glad that Kimi won the F1 nice for someone else to wim for a change How did Hamilton mess up like that?
yorkester Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Oh noooooo !!! Now we're talkin about F1.
Toby Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 hamilton got beat to day because HE thinks he's the kiddy imo.serves himself right for pissing it up.he's lost it on the 1st corner forget about the engine cutting out. Think he lost it in the pit lane at the previous race.
Toby Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 F1 is the biggist waste of time known to man. Nuff said. kinda have to agree there, its so over the top these days I know we're not allowed to talk about drag racing on here but I always like the race to the first corner!!
bortaf Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Best season for years, glad Kimmi won it Yeh Hammer cocked up but so did Alonso 2 races back, in bigger style! so we have a rookie (although in my mind he is the first "test tube" F1 driver) who makes less mistakes than a 2 time world champ, who's the better driver He would be champion if the box hadn't played up, he was on the way back up the grid till he lost those 40 seconds and went back to 18 th Still got see some good overtaking ON THE TRACK for a change even i get a bit tierd of all the pit stop overtakes and i'm an F1 fanatic
Toby Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 Can anyone enlighten me (cos I like to be light ) why so many pit stops?
Burns Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 cos otherwise they'd have massive fuel tanks and be really slow at the beginning of the race, they'd have absolutely no chance of overtaking then
Toby Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 cos otherwise they'd have massive fuel tanks and be really slow at the beginning of the race, they'd have absolutely no chance of overtaking then lol. No......! Hammilton had 4 didn't he, but the others.............3!

Burns Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 pit stops? i only listened to it on radio, but i thought they were all running a 2 stop strategy?
Toby Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 Ham had 1 more than the others, and at one stop one of the mechanics was shaking his head as if something was wrong as he went back out.
