Slik 50 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 I finaly got to see a band last night that I have been dying to see play for a couple years. The band is called [spunge] and they are a ska punk band from Doncaster, They fookin rocked. I honestly havnt been to a better gig since I watched Hayseed Dixie about 2 years ago! After a couple of songs they anounced that they have no where to stay and need to stop some where before they go to York tonight, So I kindly offerd that my mum would put them up for the night After they had packed up and loaded the tour bus we headed up to my mums and then began a monster drinking sesion. Now these guys are sponserd by Jagermaister and brought enough of the stuff to take out an army Last night was the best night i have had in years and its not often you get a band crashing at your mums gaff. I think im still a little pissed from last night aswell The lads were top notch and even bought pizza. They were suported by a group from down south called Short Warning, If you are into your rock they check out them guys they were awsome to

It was a real poor turn out due to a few other bands playing other gigs in Lancaster. There were 4 of us sat at our table and a few songs in they asked if they could crash at some ones house for the night so we volentierd (sp) my stepdad and his house for them They took us up on our offer and once they had pack all there gear up, us 4, the 4 band members, 4 road crew, 1 tour bus and one massive traiuler of stuff decended round to my mums
