my mk2 escort passed its mot today.yyyyiiipppyyyy.but the post office wouldnt give me a tax disc cus the car is in a disabled taxation class,so they wont issue me tax untill its changed,thus meaning having to send off to manc dvla and etting it changed.GGGGrrr

Always feel a bit sorry for the ladies in our local PO. Everyone gets the hump with them for doing thier jobs! They don't make the rules and only stand to loose!

 

You can always put a "paper work in the post" in it!! Not sure it's legal but what choice have them b!tches at the PO left ya!!

tbh i would risk driving it as if you do get pulled you could explain & the tax will be back dated to the 1st anyway once you get it. but i would NOT leave it parked anywhere without a tax disc just incase the worst happens

But if you get a producer and can't get it in 14 days you end up in court. They'll let you off if you produce it in court but it's a right pain in the ass. Happened to me while my licence was with the DVLA
