We now have 5 cheques and 3 other definates but we need more . Bring out your race cars , show cars , road cars , etc etc and get them in Retroford mag as well as a heath check and nice dyno plot to frame . Where's all the big bhp turbos then ? Only Ians so far so give him some competition please

You can also bring anything else if you like e.g. M3's , ricers , cosworths etc etc etc as this give a good comparison for the oldskoolfords . I have got to change my diff to a taller road one, swap my gear box from my home made one to my Quaiffe one (so I don't wear it out for no reason on the road). I had sent my starter back to Brise as the pinion teeth were looking a bit chewed, I have got it back and dummy built an engine with my bellhousing and flywheel to check the mesh. This was crap so I have plugged and re-drill and tapped the mount holes in the right place to get a good mesh. I have ordered a new ring gear which should be here on Tuesday all so it starts on the rollers. Actually I don't mind really especially if it starts next season, it's been getting a bit tiring!! But it is fooking cold out and I am a woosey!

A few people i've spoke to recently are worried about putting their car on the rolling road . I can assure you that Chris won't do a full power run if he feels somethings not right with your engine and this will then save you from blowing it up on the street later yourself anyway !!!!!!!! . Many cars that turn up are running too lean and this is what damages most engines eventually , especially the turbo ones . Also accelerating in gear up to your max rpm limit is the same on a dyno (but your engine is monitored) as it is on the road so no worries there . They also have an additional Maaaaaaaoooooooooosive £5,000 fan for use on the big bhp turbo cars to keep their charge temps down . We need some more turbo cars please as Driver is the only one so far i think
