the day starts at about 8.30am with tea + grub so the first car will run about 9am i reckon . Chris says that as long as he gets 15 up front deposits then it's ok as more people will just turn up and run on the day . As i said earlier it's not a competition so anyone can run their car weither it's standard or modded , turbo or atmo , gas or not , V8 , V6 , 4 pot , escort , capri , fiesta , etc . It's just a bit of fun so don't be shy

is there no way of paying by paypal or on the day? sending a cheque is a pain in the ass. If there are not enough numbers, i will run my "plastic" ( ) 3dr aswell.

For them to take us seriously then we need to show there is a definate amount of interest (This can only be done by sending cheques). All you have to do is stick a cheque in an envelope and lick a stamp . They've had a few clubs arrange a dyno day and then 5 cars turn up instead of 25 and it's not worth them opening up . They've no problem with people turning up and paying on the day PROVIDED we've got enough deposits in the first place . They don't mind you running a modern motor after the oldskool motors have been on and this will be good for a comparision as well . Provided i can convice them that people are comming then it's Ok but is much easier if people send cheques . Don't forget Retroford magazine will want some oldskoolford cars to photograph for their mag feature so don't all turn up in people carriers and diesils !!!!!!!!
