NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Just come home from work this morning to find my Dad setting booby traps in the garage. Someone was in our garden last night and have tried their luck with our garage door. They've moved our bins and knocked over stuff that was leaning against the wall. Seeing as my lovely Mk1 Escort is housed in the garage I'm doubting the cheeky buggers were just taking a peek at our garden furniture!!!!! Not sure how they'd get the car out but I can only imagine they were having a wee look to see what was on offer!!! How dare they mess with my OSF
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Yes it's that time of year... festive Xmas time. Alot of stuff goes missing on the run upto Xmas. I had an off road dirt bike stolen out of my back garden at the beginning of last December, cheeky f***ers came in through next doors garden and carried it over the fence
NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 I'm totally raging!!! We live in a very good area and know all our neighbours around us. The person would have had to have climbed into someones else's garden to get to ours.
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Yep Yep, same here as well What's the lighting like where you are? We had at the time a floodlight on PIR, but it is still very dark around us. Been making things a bit more secure this year, but still need to do new side fences. It isn't a nice feeling knowing someone has been having a good old rummage just feet from where you are sleeping. Since my incident, I have been leaving my bedroom light on all night. I also went through a phase for about 6 months where I didn't go to sleep until it was getting light in the morning
NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 The lighting out the front is quite good but as my garden faces other gardens, there is no light whatsoever except our security flood light. I sleep at the back of the house and didn't hear a thing last night - i think i might be doing the same as you did and not sleep at all until i know it's safe Just been in the garage discussing my fears with Dad and he told me if anyone comes into our garage tonight then they'll die cause he's bobby trapped it that much. What you've got to do to save your own property. Makes me so mad.
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Yeah, electrify the garage door handles I doubt they will be back this soon though, they will leave it for a bit, they think you will have forgotten, then they will be back. My bike incident for example... I caught 2 little chavs trying to get into my garden through my neighbours (the other side). Anyway, went out there, they were shocked to say the least. I asked them what they were up to, then I said "'spose your looking for your ball eh? Go and f**** off" Which they did, only to come back approx 9 months later I have heard it being ridden, but as there are alot of green spaces round here, it is impossible to catch them. Oh well, what can you do? They have more rights than us, treated as innocent while we are the guilty ones, parents who don't give a shite... just another example of living in a country controlled by a government who couldn't run a bath, and a London mayor who is a dictating Ferret faced dick head Sorry, I went on a bit there... appologies
NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 My Dad has confirmed that their deaths will be painful. He's got things in positions that will poke their eyes out, then they will fall and be stabbed as they land I just hope to God my Mum doesn't need anything out of the garage tonight and I hope my Dad remember what he's done or he might not make it to work on Monday
escortmad79 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Pikey little c*nts!!!! When we move in together & we get a house with a double garage the security's gonna be like Fort Knox with both our Escorts in there!
NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 Aint no one getting their mucky paws on my Stella, i'll do anything to keep her safe!!!

jimbo Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Aint no one getting their mucky paws on my Stella, i'll do anything to keep her safe!!! Now, who have I heard say that before??? My money would be on Posse Removing the rotor arm is always a good bet. But I especially like the shotgun cartridges idea Thieving cnuts. I hate it that we have to live in such a defensive age. It makes me a bit nervous these days when someone takes a genuine interest in my car.
NHR115 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 The car is on a spit right now but everything else is lying in the garage which can be easily lifted. I guess in today's day and age it doesn't matter whether something is moveable or not, if they want it they'll have it!!!!!!
