jimihendrix Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Just joined the other day, Ive got a 1978 Mk3 3.0S Capri and a 1984 Mk2 Granada 2.8 Ghia X. The Capri is a project bought off E-bay about six months ago, was first intended to be a straight forward fix up job but it's turned into an X-pack project now, i'm waiting on the wings arriving sometime this month so going to get back into it over christmas as it's been sat in my lockup for three months The Granada is my daily driver, bought that about four months ago to replace a 1998 Alfa Romeo 155 2.0 16V T-spark. The Alfa was a great car but just too friggin technical and hard to work on so decided to go for another old ford . Did consider a Mk4/5 Cortina or another Capri but the Granada turned up at the right price and was local (in the Addtrader). I've had tons of older cars over the years and have been through phases with VW's, Hillman imps, Mini's and Yank muscle cars, i think i've settled on Fords now though Fords i've owned in the past have been a couple of MK1 fiestas, a 1980 Mk2 Escort 16 Ghia, a 1970 Mach1 Mustang, a 1980 Mustang 5.0, and four Capris.
