Ok I've never had snow at Christmas down here I guess adverts with a fat middle aged drunk dad asleep & snoring in front of the tree after four courses of Turkey and lashings of Christmas pud all washed down with lager and red wine wouldn't be quite so appealing on the TV

Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 30, 2007 Admin Report Posted November 30, 2007 It's because we would like it to snow at Christmas and it's the picture that is painted on the adverts, Christmas cards etc. I can remember snow but it was in January/February .... we had loads of days off school cos we either couldn't get there or the pipes had frozen so the school had shut Oh, happy days
