Glad the zetec Anglias couldn't beat my old pintos 14.4 sec quarter and 6.0 sec Zero-60 time then . Despite mine having only one cam , 8 valves , 45's and points + weighing more !!!!!!

On the Anglia Thrash feature did Neilm's 187 bhp Zetec run a 14.6 or a 14.9 sec quarter mile ? It's got 2 different times in the mag , a 14.6 second one next to his cars feature bit and a slower 14.9 sec one on the combined chart at the end . What one was it then ?

Gaz, you seem to be rather anal about Anglia owners not liking Pinto's.

 

The reason is nothing to do with the Pinto as an engine per se, just that is it too heavy to fit to an Anglia, and if you fit one you have to mount it a long way back if you want the car to go round corners, plus all the suspension upgrades that would be needed. But wouldn't all those mods be cheating?
