Get your car weighed i bet theres not a lot of weight differance if it bothers you so much,mine is 960 kg

Mine would weigh about 750 kilos when it's lightened out so it would go 1 second faster at least . yours would weigh about 1200 kilos with all the bits bolted back on it

I'm not moaning i'm just saying that if mine was a race car not a comfy street car then I WOULD strip it out and lighten everything and it would go much faster . I could still lighten mine to 750 kilos but i can't be arsed as i like my car as it is ? DO YOU UNDERSTAND YET ?

I've got nothing to lose though have i ?Not many N.A. 4 cylinder engines have beaten my old Harris pintos 14.4 sec 1/4 mile or it's 6.0 secs 0 to 60 mph i did last time have they ? I did that with a proper unlightened street car with 175/50/13 tyres , a £30 type 9 gearbox ,45's and points . My new engine is muuuuuuuuch faster than before so i could piss a low 13 up there or a 12 with all the bits missing

Strange that isn't it , even after all the retroford and classic ford mag brunters thrashes not many N.A. 4 cylinder engines have beaten my old fast road Harris pinto according to the clock . It's even stranger considering that the Turbosport lot reckon it only had 155 bhp , even the 190 bhp zetecs can't catch it or all those 250 bhp B.D.X. rally cars that classic ford tested

I reckon i wont beat my 4.3 0-60 and 8.7 to 100mph time up there due to more power and more wheelspin,but i will give it a go
