Mick The Cabbie Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 Just flicking around on the box and saw the last 20 mins of Vroom Vroom. They do a regular feature on celebs garages. Maxi Jaz from Faithless has a Nordic blue Mk2 RS2000 in his garage. Lovely motor with vinyl roof & sidedraughts. He named it 'Biscuit' and has even wrote a song about it. The foxy lookin girly presenter was well impressed. She looked like she was actually gettin a little exited!

Mick The Cabbie Posted December 9, 2007 Author Report Posted December 9, 2007 I thought it was Olympic blue Olympic blue was an earlier colour used on Mk1 Escorts. Mk2's used Riviera blue(very similar to olympic blue) or Nordic blue which was a slightly lighter powder blue used on later cars.
cossieglen Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 Cool, cheers bud, always nice to know these things I met him once, when he came to buy my old bosses racing Fiesta (well at least to look at it, not sure if the deal was ever sealed). Just a shame I didn't have my old RS on the road then, or I'm sure we'd have probably had a good chat

Olympic was also used on early Mk2s
