Number plate light prob....

..On an R reg mondeo.

They dont work,replaced bulbs,check fuses,check battery and conections also checked all other lights but the number plate lights still dont work?

 

Am i missing something?

Have you checked the earthing points in the tailgate mate??? Also check the wiring where it goes through the little rubber boots on the top of the tailgate, theres a possibility they may have crimped which results in an internal break in the wires

scrap it and get a proper ford. did i realy say that out loud

Sorted.gave up looking for fault,drove to work this morn about 15miles into my journey and ping,they came back on

 

Forgot to mention the dash board lights wearnt working either so thats how i know.
