lloydy Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 just thought i would ask if anyone had any feedback about the different sequential gearboxes that are available on the market for instance quaife or elite or any others that you may have heard of.
Admin Vista Posted December 13, 2007 Admin Report Posted December 13, 2007 I don't know of anyone on here using one, (though I'm sure there is somewhere on here) they're pretty serious money to spend for the average OSF that get's used for a bit of fun and sideways action. P.S. Welcome to the site

Mk 1 Mark Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 And to all just thought i would ask if anyone had any feedback about the different sequential gearboxes that are available on the market for instance quaife or elite or any others that you may have heard of. Only one man with that user name and asking that question... Alright mate.... Mark here And to everyone else..This is Lloyd with the Mega N/A Cosworth Mk1 Cortina and was a Retro Trackday @ Brands
V8ian Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Different boxes for different applications, Hollinger seems to be at the top of the tree, and capable of coping with copious amounts of power, 1000hp++, but they know how to chage for the privilage, suppose the Quaife box is at the budget end but still at over 5k is hardly within my budget. but even then its not capable of handling the power I would want to put thru it.

Guest MK1gaz Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Best ask on the rally car forums as plenty of playboy millionaires on there would have tried them + broken them i reckon . I watched your mk1 cortina at brands hatch by the way and it was ace
