Im prone to Tonsilites, and yeah it hurts like a fecker, but i was advisied by my doc to grin an put up with as the op's very painful so he said.

Just think the pain won't last too long and then you won't get it again so I would have them out if I were you

Had mine out when I was 16. Hurt like fook for about 3 weeks but not really had any probs since. No jelly and ice-cream any more they made me eat a King roast dinner apparently it helps them heal quicker

well its not tonisilitus acording to the doc at the worst its glandula fever but said she would ony do the tests if i wonted to know 'do i need to know' was my answer 'not unless you want to'

 

so rather than waster half the morning i decided to leave it at that and she told me to get ibprofen which has worked a treat i feel nothing including when i caught my finger HARD with the hammer

well after a weekend of utter pain and no food ive been to the drop in again this morning, my gran took me in as i was all dizzy from not havin food or owt (i do have the day off altho i not in pain now ive got no energy so dont want to be on a roof carting slates about in my condition)

 

anyway see a lady doctor who is very helpfull explains why the last one wouldnt prescribe anythig but says she will..........then send me to hospital thankfully she calls my doc in for a second opinion who gives me the choice of him doing it or sending me hospital for it

 

 

basically i had a huge needle in my tonsil and he sucked some crap out it lots of pain and a fair bit of blood and im in again tomorrow before the place even opens so he can see me again

 

£20 on antibiotics and got a bleedin carryerbag full and the real annoyin thing right no apart from an emty tummy i feel totally fine

 

 

 

 

oh yeah its a quincy i have just a boil/abcess on the tonsil but its huuuge and i cant eat anything
