brake pads

are they sposed to be so tight on the disk?

 

never fitted em before but im assuming they will wear down a bit once moving, or do i need to just wear em in a bit with some sandpaper?

Have you bled the brakes? Mine have gone in with around 3 mm gap each before being bled.

theyre just dry fitted at the mo

I'm assuming you've checked the caliper pistons are fully pushed back home? They shouldn't be tight on the disc

yeah pistons are fully home. it also looks like the disk may be touching part of the caliper :-S

 

bit wierd il double check it all over tomoz when im in less of a rush, iv prob made a little mistake somewhere but little mistakes can have big consequences so better make sure its right before i go sanding my pads away

 

calipers are mounted at the back right?

 

just have to check i havent got my legs on the wrong side of the car and all that

I used the spaces's that came in the kit. Two on the mounting bracket to leg and two for the caliper to mounting bracket. This made them sit perfectly. I can't put a pic up coz my pooter is fooked

be for you put them in your meant to rub them to gather a bit any way

iv sorted it all now mr johnnyH was spot on
