My dad used to work in a chemist in Bradford that all the celebs were sent to when they were on at the local theatre. I've got a Goodies book signed by them all.

 

One time (in the 80s), Barbara Windsor came into the shop and one of the young lads who worked there went up to her and asked 'Scuse me, are you Barabara Windsor'. The lovely lady replied 'So what if I am. Piss off'....

 

A few years ago coming up to Christmas I was in the Trafford Centre. Passing WHSmith, Pete Waterman was doing a book signing. There he was sat all on his own with no queue at all. I went down to Our Price and bought the CD that had just come out 'The Pete Waterman Collection' for my sister, then went back to WHSmith to get him to sign it. As I was walking out, two women from the office spotted me and pointed and laughed
