Twinkle Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 had a pub landlord moaning one night that we had the blue lights on outside his pub because there was an rtc and our lights were putting the customers off as it looked like there was trouble in the pub, i said no we cant as we were blocking the road and he was rather rude. one of the coppers heard him and told him to go shove a broken pint glass up his arse

Muttley MK2 Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 When I was a nipper I lived in Staines, and a Trident airliner crashed near the A30 about 100 yards from where I lived. Me and my brother watched it come down and we both burst into tears!! Any way within ten minutes there were so many people rubberneckin that the ambulances could not get in to where the plane was. After an hour there were people actually picknicking on the side of the reservoirs watching the vans ferrying the dead bodies out. The police put out a report on the radio telling people not to come and see cos they were clogging up all the roads
Admin Vista Posted December 27, 2007 Admin Report Posted December 27, 2007 It's just human nature to be inquisitive, it's a little grim but there's nothing that will change it. I have a similar criticism of some of my friends that label motorsport as boring but are then glued to their TV's if/when there's an on track accident.
