We are all petrolheads on here mate . That's why we don't like sporting Escort models trailered to car shows and mirrors stuck under them like some ornament . Sure there should be a few of each model like that kept in a museum but now there's flipping rows and rows of the poxy things at RS and A.V.O days , waste of a good motor i reckon . Probably not that many but most of the cars only hit the road a couple of times a year just to go to the main shows . My mates Mexicos only go to the MOT station and then crawl up to AVO day and that's it for the year , i wouldn't mind but my cars much cleaner than their's and it's sideways + snaking everywhere !!!!!!

I dont care for clean ones, they can be covered in rust, it whats under the hood but I cant appricate hours spent on clean ones

I love AVO national day at stanford hall as it's normally sunny and a great venue . I've been going to it since i was about 20 years old when i bought my first Mexico (£600 in those days ) . I don't take my escort though , i go in my old Porsche 911 or BMW Alpina
