Toby Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 i have edited the racist comments and if it persists it will be referred to admin for consideration and the thread will be locked or deleted. Who wrote what? Tut tut!! We're allowed to comment though? It's not a great way to influence people though is it, blowing people up and usually yourself too? IMHO. But is it true? I get e-mails at work about all sorts off racist crap, and most of it is just that, so many people (dare I say friends) get the e-mails that insite racist, unfounded comments and then urge people to forward the mail on which they do without even querying it!
Toby Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Sorry for doubting the truth Sumo "PARIS–The Dakar Rally, the epic motorcycle, car and truck race across the Sahara Desert, was cancelled yesterday by organizers citing "direct" threats of terrorism from Al Qaeda-linked militants. The race was deemed too inviting a target for the terror group's new north African affiliate. The roughly 550 competitors were to have left today on the 16-day, 9,300-kilometre trek through remote and hostile dunes and scrub from Europe to Senegal in West Africa. Organizers of the rally, once known as the Paris-Dakar, cited warnings from the French government about safety after the Al Qaeda-linked Dec. 24 slaying of a family of French tourists in Mauritania – where most of the competition was to be held – and "threats launched directly against the race by terrorist organizations." It was the first time that the 30-year-old rally, one of the biggest competitions in automobile racing, has been called off." You could blame the organisers!! A bit more adrenline for the competitors!
Team Blitz Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Give each Dakar entry one of these vehicles: With one of these mounted up top: Now THAT'S motoring! I'm in. 550 Dakar entries, problem solved. Next?
