One of my first cars was a 1600 Harrier, always regreted selling it, and swore one day i'd get another Mk2. One of my altime favourit cars is/was the Bailey X Pack, so when this became available, there was only every gonna be one outcome...

Oh god... where do I start?

Well, basically, my first priority is to get the bodywork sorted, as it's had a hard life, the kit is starting to blister and there are quite a few rust patches, the good news is the shell is solid, and needs very little welding...

The Engine is still running leaded, but for now i'm gonna use an Aditive as I aint decided whether I wanna keep the pinto or fit a Valver (sorry purists) , the suspension is still the original so that'll want upgrading, so depending on costs, i'll turret the rear end. 4 link it and fit a panhard kit (Cant aford a watts) then fit coilovers, I seem to remember the X pack had a antidive kit, but chances are mine wont have so that will be on the list... The interior is long gone so it already has my Buckets it, a roll cage is right at the top of the list aswell. then IF I have any sponds left, upgrade to the brakes, which in turn will meen bigger wheels not sure what tho... (loved the split rims Retro Al had on his) but chances are it'll be some minilite style wheels as thats all I can seem to find in 15 x 8.

That'll keep me going this winter, then i'll start proper next winter.
