Hi all how many of you out there are affected by the new low emission zone its the biggest load of bollox since the poll tax once again politicians not giving a shit for small companys i know a lot of people are gonna struggle with this what do you think ps get rid of ken and bring in boris...

Spoke to one guy in Swanley who had 14 lorries, none of them comply, thinks he may just have to shut down. There is something you can get put on the exhaust of older lorries that will let them comply for another couple of years but costs a couple of grand!

 

I bet old foreign lorries can do as they please though!

Our vans will be in this in 2010, I feel some nice polluting V6s coming on (though might just end up with pintos). The particulate trap will cost £2000 for us, and you can't have the VOSA test without it, if you fail even with the trap they grass you up to TFL.
