my dad's in the haulage business, and you get all manner of idiots trying it on and the like. selling (expensive) rams, wheels, trucks themselves for cheaper than market prices.

I know plenty of tinkers from years of boxing and whatnot, they tend to be aggressive people, and there are certainly bad ones out there, but as someone else said, it's the same for people that live in houses. There are plenty of dole sponding council estate dwelling chavs out there that would stab your granny if they thought there was a fiver in it. Some of you might be interested to hear that the origin of Irish travellers is from families that were forced off their land during the Irish "famine" by British balliffs, and have never settled since. Obviously this isn't the fault of living English people, but it's worth pointing out as historical trivia to perhaps put things in perspective.

i'm not on about travelers, i mean pikeys. there is a diference in my opinion.

I was working in a yard repairing a fork truck when the lorries were backed in for loading, as fast as they were loading the lorries the pikeys had been and stollen all the front bumpers off all of em....

 

they also stole every drain cover (around 30 or so) on the entire trading estate inside 20 mins... the lengths they would go to you wouldnt believe...

 

they now make roadsigns out of plastic as they used to nick all the ally roadsigns round here too.

I hate them all - there is some near me that take the piss. they even close off th eroad to have their stupid horse and cart races.... closing the a30 i mean come on.

they are all pricks and they will always try to fook you over.

 

I dont think they are clever they just have a - I dont give a fook attitude and that gives them almost a higher criminal status .

Sorry to hear that mate. This scrap things getting well out of hand now. Im an electrician and we get on site sometimes and someones nicked the wires sticking out the wall for outside lights! We have to rewire them for what? About a foot of cable! P**ses me off!
