bmxdave Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 I used to put 120 psi in my wilkinsons £1.25 innertubes The odd one would go pop after about 60psi, then some would go after a few days at 120 then some would last 6 months. The ones in it now have been on for over a year, unridden, and theyve held 120psi and still have 100 in them. mad eh.
orionmojo Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 why do you put 120psi in them i run mine at 45 and they're solid enough.
Kieran Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Posted February 3, 2008 were you doing a 20ft jump at the time? i was pumping the tyre up at the timeit exploded m8
bmxdave Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 why do you put 120psi in them i run mine at 45 and they're solid enough. BMX tyres. Lower rolling resistance, it takes up some of the harsh landings and reduces punctures by about 90%.

bmxdave Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 The tyres where fat as fook (in terms of BMX) 2.25" up front and 2.125" out back. Slicks up front with formula one style treads out back. Youd be surprised how much theyd give, especially with 6ft plus drops at low speeds landing backwards.
hotrodholty Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 were you doing a 20ft jump at the time? nice avater burns got another of her playing wii in her birthday suit, but photobucket wouldn't like it nice
Stu_B Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I run about 90 to 100 psi! You couldn't ride ramps with 45psi in your tyres
