Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 Hhhhmmmm I need therapy Well last week (I think it was) a core plug let go on me, and when I was doing my professional inspection I noticed the manifold to downpipe flange was loose. It wasn't blowing, and it hasn't fallen off in over a year, so I thought never mind. But, and there always is a but... I had to remove the manifolds to sort out the core plug. Anyway to cut a long story short, I finished the car on Thursday evening, got it out yesterday and went round the block... all was well. I decide to go out last night and half way round my road, the exhaust falls off So, back I go, got my spanners out, and had it sorted in about 20 mins. Took it round the block and thought "Bonza". I park up, go in and wash my hands, then jump I jump in and off I pop. I drive down my road, and at the exact same place... the feckin' exhaust falls off again So I just dumped it and went out in the NSTT instead. IT is now back in the naughty corner, and will probably stay there untill I have my new engine built up... I will then make an exhaust pipe which WILL fit, and WONT bloody fall off! I was well on one yesterday as well... I replace my missing pillar badge after that did the offs, wired up my rev counter, I cleaned it and also polished up the chromework Rant over... and boy do I feel a bit better
