Just cumin home from dropping off the misses and went through my favourite lanes. I usually give it some but tonite its kind of icy out so i decided to hang back on this particular corner. I went round it, then half way thru i noticed the front started pulling away from me, so i cum off the gas and turned more, well all of a sudden a huge mud bank came into view and i knew i was gunna smack into it so i tried to pull the car sidewayz to hit it side on. Well anyway, i hit the bank and it flicked me back on to the road and i kept going. Everything felt alrite till i put my foot down and a huge vibration came up the column. Well i got out to check superficial damage and there is none, just mud all round the inside of the wheel ect. Carried on driving for a bit and felt loads of vibration when at about 45mph and it gets worse when i come off the gas. And also, my clutch feels weird. Its kinda strange but i press the clutch and it feels like nothing is happening and wen i take my foot off the engine feels smoother sort of :? I then thought i could smell a bit of gear oil, so i am thinkin the half shaft is gone. Its a Peugeot 205 so if anybody can help me out and give me a few idea's of what could be wrong? I thought it was a puncture at first but its not. Wen i pull off the car is vibrating like mad and in reverse it scares me how much vibration there is. I am shakin as i wite this  Anybody know whats broken lol???

Probably just some mud inside the wheel screwing with your balancing or you could have even just knocked a weight out.

Was there a kerb?

thanks for the replies guys, so quick too. Yeah iim okay, took a knock to my shoulder but its fine lol I was thinkin driveshaft bcoz my passenger one has gone and that rumbles at speed. Does anybody know if the gearbox mount is an easy change? The car used to veer off to the left slightly before 2nyt but now it is turning left a lot more lol tracking thats down to or a buckled wheel as sed before. Thanks guys, will have a proper looksy 2mz.

Unlucky matey, least your ok. The gearbox mount shouldnt be too dificult you probs just need to get a jack under it to support the weight, its a bit trickier lining it up you might need to use a big breaker bar or something
