You need a boss to fit I have a rs one for the mk2 escort but it wont fit the mk1, Thease are rare as rocking horse poo so they dont come cheep, If you are interested give me a email. I thought the mk2 and mk1/capri were the same hence I have a expensive door stop.

the one i have that i think is from an rs turbo has a boss that you can remove. I cant afford a propper rs one so got my eyes on a momo one and ill just re- drill it to suit the wheel

I have a four spoke wheel from an rs 1 600i which has a separate ford motor sport boss (hex fitting)which i have yet to fit to my mk1 fiesta (splined).I,ll do this by using a mk2 fiesta colomn modified slightly to suit.

It may be cheaper to modify your column to suit the boss you have(just a thought)

The hex bosses are 2 a penny, try ebay, it's the splined ones that are rare, |Mk2 escort ones fetch £50 pluss , Mk3/4 escort make a tenna on a good day

remove the rubber centre and there is 6 bolts holding it all together, no other boss fits they are all to small a PCD but i used a mountney boss with an adapter ring with 2 sets of holes to fit the wheel to me cortina
