wanted: type 9 and xe bellhousing

i know i should'nt post it here but it for a friend who is gettin desperate so thought it might get more response in here.

i need a type 9 5 speed g/box and bellhousing to mate it to a 2.0xe redtop. i know sbd do one but they aint cheap. any help would be appreciated.

also is he best with sierra or capri box

capri and sierra boxes are the same tho if u get one out of a 1600 pinto or 1800cvh powerd car there less likley to have been destroyed

Be careful as the capri 2.8 box has a longer input shaft so you'll need the corresponding bellhousing to suit. You'll probably end up paying close to a new one if you can find a secondhand one also as they dont come up often so the price stays high.

 

And dont forget theres upright and 7 degree ones.
