OK folks.

Can anyone help.I'm trying to find out if there are any other Australian/South African Ford Fairlane's in the UK.

I've been looking out for them since I bought mine last Spring. There was a later model to mine that showed up on this site last year and then disapeared agian but that is the only one I've seen or heard of.

So is mine the only one in the UK?Or does anyone know of any others?

She's a 1971 ZD Fairlane.Fitted with a 351cui Cleveland V8 and looks like this.

I've wanted a proper V8 my whole life and the real thing is even better than I could have imagined.

Everyone should drive one at least once, there really is nothing else like it

those old "tanks" (in the nicest possibly way) are lovely. you cant beat arm out the window effortless cruising to the rumble of a v8 and that fairline looks the spot on

aint on yet need shock bushes as bolts were siezed.

We`ve all said your motor stands out and when it was parked nexted to Dave`s festa(at Bury meet) you then realise the actual size of it.

Nice car, your probably right dont think I know of another in the uk. Old fords aside we are yankee boyz to mopar to be exact weve got a 65 dodge dart gt only one in the uk , a 520ci mopar powered altered dragster and we are also looking after and restoring a plymouth barracuda drag car at the mo to . Check www.mitchvillehotrods.co.uk in our cars section and you will see em. Il do sum homework on that for you some of my fellow mopar petrol heads will probably know. Beautiful car , bring it to wheels day on good friday
