Airbag Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I remember last year there was just as many Mondeos, Jelly Moulds and mk5 Escorts as there was OSFs, and it seams such a shame as there were so many great looking OSFs in the car park!! I think there should be a section for any OSF to park in the show and anything non OSF should stay in the carpark! Don't get me wrong I like my Cosworths and stuff but there is always Ford Fair for them. What do people think?
4parajon Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Personally I dont give a monkeys either way. But you need to bear in mind its not the OSF Show, its the CF show and it covers a broader section of the cars than we have on here.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 19, 2008 Admin Report Posted March 19, 2008 CF mag consider Mk3 Escorts & early s.ierra's as Classic Motors now
trispage Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Ok i am now going to make myself look a complete pratt, but for the life of me i can't think or guess at the answer......what is a jelly mould ??
trispage Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Ta Jo, don't i feel the idiot now. Forgot those even existed....
Tracey Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I have always called them Jelly Moulds, they are one car I dislike the look of
Stu_B Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I like jelly moulds but prefer the jelly that comes out of 'em... with ice cream
sab6024 Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I have always called them Jelly Moulds, they are one car I dislike the look of I love Jelly moulds (I've had a few) and they don't half as bad as the Scorpio I'm driving
MK2Ed Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I like the 3 door then that's it... Back to topic, I'd say there is scope for an OSF area but I don't remember seeing that many OSF's in the car park last year
Rick Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 i suppose it attracts more people having a wider variety of cars/ not sure all the new ST cars should be there though. to be honest how many took a second glance at any of the new stuff. i dont mind a good 2 door mk1 jelly and am partial to a black darth vader kitted up one but most are pretty similar 4 door metallic on 17 inch rims cossy turbo that doenst actually work
Fiesta Steve Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 CF mag consider boxy FWDs & early s.ierra's as Classic Motors now FWD cars and S.ierra's have been in CF from day one, over 10 years now I think !
caprinerd Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 useless fact time: i use to banger jellies all the time, but did a big meet in a mk3 granny, when i put the cage in from a jelly, i had to cut the inners of the doors to get it in, never believe the mk3 granny is smaller than a jelly on the inside would ya
Retromotorsport Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 If you got rid of the Club stands you would'nt have as many people at the show .. and thats a 'show at santa pod' killer, no people as it costs a lot to hire santapod. And as car clubs have a variety of cars you get a variety ... if you dont want to look at Focus's then walk on by. And if you spot an OSF in the car park... well sorry but he should have joined a club and shown his or her car... its not a space issue as the organisers ask how many cars you've got going ..
ASBO CAPRI Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I love 3dr cossie jelly molds in moonstone blue. If i didn't have my capper I'd have one of these.
MK2Ed Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 White 3 door for me and a white classic 911 but I wouldn't trade in my OSF for one just get one of each... Yeah right If I win the lottery...
deltamal Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Jelly moulds have lot's of useful bits undeneath!
