escysean Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Check out rare old skool cars in AZ, USA will be crushed to make way for property development http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2810829 Sean

X FLOW EDDY Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 If you look hard there is a TR7, a pair of MGA's, a hillman imp, a fiat strada, its a crime to see them go to waste.
pimtina Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Yes it's a shame. Let's hope that many of these cars were saved from the crusher. The real problem here is twofold: People are moving to Arizona at an alaming rate - something like 10,000 a month in the Pheniox area alone so land for development is worth big$$$. Second is the price of steel - cars a worth more as scrap than whole. Sad to say but that's prgress?
