Doc Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Been buying bits to rebuild the engine next month ....over on flea bay , bought a new crank , shells full gasket set and core plugs new oil pump drive etc just waiting to buy some unleaded heads and the fooking engines gone Bang ! Oil all over the shop noisy as fook and i left a smoke trail on the M8 so large Osama bin liner could have hidden from the yanks in it for years !!! So ill have to get it sorted quicker but its a pain in the arse . Maybe ill fit a cheap engine and build the 3.1 now with the original but fook im miffed ! Its my birthday some present

Your stroked 3.4 is gonna be the shizz and your cappa looks quicker and harder stood still that most cars look at full tilt. Your a bit of a legend round these parts anyway, so you can always count on us for a bit of enthusiasm D

Doc Posted April 5, 2008 Author Report Posted April 5, 2008 nice one mate Yep its in the garage to get an engine re-build and a slammed stance , new TCAs etc ... back in a month or so and ready for CF show When i dropped it off the mechanic took me into his storage unit and pulled back a sheet on a car v8 Orange Xpack capri !!! So he is stoked to be working on mine and he drives a v4 mk1 capri ! Im in good hands
