FredTransit Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Thanks harry, it had to be said for various reasons. At the very least, does he want to get to 17 and be a father?
Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 2, 2008 Admin Report Posted April 2, 2008 Well, I read the whole of your post and you sound like you are a really nice lad You sound kind and considerate and despite the other blokes on here telling you to sleep with as many girls as you can you still need to treat them with respect I hope that you don't change At 16 both of your hormones are all over the place and being in love is sometimes really tough and heartbreaking I think she does believe she truly loves you but it is difficult when all her friends and family are telling her to stay away from you when all she probably wants is to be with you AND keep them all happy as well. I think that moving away will unfortunately mean that you will drift apart but at 16 you shouldn't be looking too far ahead anyway, you should be enjoying your time with whoever you are with and live each day as it comes You will meet other people throughout your life that you will fall in love with and eventually you will be ready to settle down with one single person Love doesn't get any easier or less heartbreaking as you get older either .... but you do learn to realise what is really important in life and you do learn that we are all different with our own funny ways and that is just how it is (periods or not ). Stay in touch with her if you want to but go out and enjoy your new life - you will meet new people and the next part of your life will begin I have to say though, that if I was your mum, I would be very proud of your maturity and the way you have conducted yourself - what a nice lad you are Anyway, most of the others won't have read the whole of my post either
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 You go out with this girl because of the person she is. You don't go out with her friends or her family. She is 16? She can make up her own mind, if she allows her friends to rule her life and tell her what to do, she is a weak person. Hold your head up geezer, tell her to bike it, and do stuff YOU want to do. I have unfortunatley been here to many times, so I do what I want to do, spend money on what I want to spend money on and not have to worry about asking/checking before I do something. You will know when you meet the right person, the pair of you will just 'click'. Stop chasing them, and let them chase you mate. Have fun, your 16 years old & life is far to short for regrets. BTW, listen to Jo, she knows what she is talking about All us nice lads get shit on

X-pack-Glyn Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 at 17 i was knobbing a very VERY large 34 yr old accountant with her own flat, and she had a (new at the time) 205 1.9 GTI which she let me use to go to college, i was like a dog wioth two cocks, just treat em as objects mate...seriously, and when you find the right one you will know. up untill i was 17 i used to hold doors open for girls at school, polite to them and allsorts and it got me fookin nowhere, why is it when you turn into a total bastard every girl under the sun seems to take an interest, its sad but true!
X-pack-Glyn Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 My only advise is, if you are gonna sleep around, don't forget your condoms ...... Some of the best advice there on this thread Yeah, get one pregnant, kid on way, shes sorted for life and yours is as good as over mate. i know a lad who left the condom at this girls propperty and she "emptied the contents in a convinient place" hes now forced to pay her 86 quid a week!! FFS be carefull!
NHR115 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Long distance relationships do work - me and Neil are proof of that (almost a year together with 500 miles between us) but we're both a lot older than you and have had many heartbreaks before. The girl does sound a lot of hardwork and it sounds like you could do a lot better. You'll probably meet many girlies when you move away and i know it will be hard but you need to move on. Keep your chin up and enjoy life while you're still young.
Noodles Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Just wait mate, I was about 21 when I met Sarah, first relationship and we have been together for 3 years. I had given up even looking and she just fell in me lap
NHR115 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I had given up even looking and she just fell in me lap I know its the biggest cliche ever but you really do find love when you're not looking
escortmad79 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 All us nice lads get shit on I spent years being shit on time & time again until I met my soulmate last year. I know it sounds corny but you *know* when you've found the right person, I certainly knew from the first time I met her that Michelle was the one
Burns Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 teenage girls are a nightmare just be yourself mate, really that's all it takes
badchild Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 16 is too young to be talking about love, long term relationships and commitment. You should be chasing as many as possible as much as possible. I did myself and then gave up because it was effort and im lazy. Now i regret not doing it more. If your lazy like me then long term is better but while your young get in there and get some. Start afresh in your new area. Oh, and a little note, if a girl ever says shes on the blob, make a mental note. Youll soon find theyre on about 6 or 7 times a month. Its their excuse for everything. Im sure im about to get a good flogging from one of the ladies for that comment, but secretly, they know its true aswell. liked that 1 I did a long term and long distance relationship when i worked in scotland, they can be done like. In all honesty id move on though ive been treated like shite like this before and regret not forgetting about them quicker, you'll manage mate good luck, just go with what you thinks right PS all the hidden counsellors are coming out now
one-day Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 cor blimey what i would to be 16 again sounds like fun aint we all been there play ya best card m8 and keep the rest in ya pocket
tazrocks88 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 ahhh to be 16 ish again, im only 19 now but looking back it seems an absolute age away, truth be told, ive never been out of a 'relationship' for more than about 2 months since i was 15 ish, had a girlfriend that lasted 3 years from when i was 15 to 18, but looking back at it, as much as she was what i suppose you would call my 'first love' it really did kill my social life dead in its tracks, every night after college/work spent at her house, didnt see my mates for them 3 years, i dont feel bad about it and you dont forget that person ever, but i would have gone about things differently, at the end of the day what im trying to say is, dont bother trying to get seriously involved with girls, just try to have fun, someone will come along and this love malarky, itll hapen whenever it happens, and from then on your under the thumb. i agree with this dont bother with trying to hard if you do its bound to be u that is left upset at the end. I am the other end of the scale i have had a 4 month relationship since 17 that took over my life for those 4 months it went sour then i realised i had been a prat i have not been in a relationship for a year but hey its a good life if you find some1 its good but dont rush things there are good things from being single more time (with mates/to work on car) more money (to work on car with) no1 tellin u wat they want u 2 do . some1 will come along who has decent mates there is no point fighting a girls mates they will always win her over.
