ZetecVan 2.0 Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Are you having it chassis mounted or crossmember mounted? (just carrying on from Gaz's questions )
hotrodholty Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 Are you having it chassis mounted or crossmember mounted? (just carrying on from Gaz's questions ) whats best, im only asking to get an idea of my options
hotrodholty Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 Chassis mounted can you buy weld on mounts then?
meXEco Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Sump will be needed-cut & shut the steel one-cheap-or get a ready made steel one or find a Manta 7 degree one-expensive. Engine mounts are available for the crossmember but i've heard these arent great and it puts the engine where the mounts want it to go-chassis mount it goes where you want it to. (barring bulkhead mods) Bellhousing-expensive or find a Manta Getrag box-not great apparently. Best way is 45's with MBE or similar-but it aint gonna be cheap unfortunately.
Jeb Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Id be interested in this too Is there anyways to fit one with having to do any major welding/cutting
