flyingbanana Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 one of my insurance renewal's has come through and the cheeky gits have now put on the form that they will take the money directly out of the account you paid from the previous year unless you contact them.....are they hoping that people are not going to change insurer or totally forget about it.......what about if i didn't want to renew the insurance with them .....they still take my money without asking.......surly they cant take the money without consent and me having to contact them to make sure they dont...........to say the least it got me annoyed one else had this with their insurance company ?
antz Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 which company? my insurance is due soon and i better watch out for this.
john_3.0s Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 standard scam mate, the phone companies and lots of others will try the same. If you do cancel make sure you get confirmation of the cancellation in writing from them and also i suggest u cancel ur standing order / direct debit in case they *forget* to cancel your cover.
Rick Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 a lot of them do that mate. they just like to cause unneccesary trouble for people that think about switching. that way you say 'ah fook it il stay with them' jokers get your bank to cancel further direct debits from them
