bmxdave Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I went TESCO's yesterday, and I had an old man, mustve been pretty old, late 60's, early 70's, struggling to walk, come over to me, shuffling along. The first thing he said to me was 'what engines in that, it doesnt sound like a sidevalve'. I told him about it and he said 'that must shift a bit', to which i replied ' yeah, its quick enough like' His reply was 'you know what, itll never be fast enough, thats the problem' and turned around and shuffled off again. Talk about making my day!
Tom Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I'd almost forgotte about all the 'that brings back memories' people until i stopped for some jungle this morning

FredTransit Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I get this with the Mk1 transits too, people actually smile and wave!! When I was on the way to a shoot with the one that was in The Bank Job, I could barely get away from people trying to talk to me at petrol stations, and was nearly sideswiped by a bloke trying to photograph it on his phone in traffic!!
