5hane Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 'but i thought it was a standars 1300, with twin carbs'
Trevmk3 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 get whatever information you can about mods from the current owner and ring the insurance company, that way you have all the bits listed for your quote
Admin Vista Posted May 14, 2008 Admin Report Posted May 14, 2008 Ring the company and be as open and honest as you can. If you don't they'll take your money and give you a certificate, but if you come to claim and they find anything they don't know about, you'll not get a red cent out of them.
mk1super Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 If its any help the car has fuel pumps in boot, and sounds a little lumpy on tickover, two 40s bolted on the side and an where the cam cover cap is it has a cap with a hose running into a bottle (Expansion bottle of some sort iam guessing?) It pulls well in every gear Hell of alot quicker than a mex i drove earlier this year.
