old skool freestyler Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 well the litle 1.1 went pop friday on my way to work so got towed home me and my mate said fook it lets make a fast car now so from friday to sunday non stop work on my car it now looks like this all thats left to do is put the rad in plum it all up and did the conversion for 60quid and it ran sunday aswell so fooking wel chuffed i tel ya

X-pack-Glyn Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Im confuesed, when is the *fast* engine going to be fitted then? fook off OK il admit, im actually a closet fan of the CVH but my mk2 XR2 had a special grind cam, RS1600i solid lifters and DCNFs and it pulled and sounded dead ard! i do quite miss it really, would have been more than happy to fit that engine in my cappa.

old skool freestyler Posted May 20, 2008 Author Report Posted May 20, 2008 finally got it running proper now so well cuffed but cant get it to select gears but will investage more when on a ramp at work but its back on its own wheels drive shafts are done just got to put the altinator on and make up some pipe work for the rad then its very nearly there but heres some pics of how its looking now let me know what ya think
