all winter i wished it was summer and now its summer i wish it was winter.

 

i dont feel in show season mode at all since my car hasnt got the fancy new engine i hoped all winter id have by now...its taken a shine off things and made the show season less fun since the car isnt what i hoped for.

 

i wish it was winter so i didnt feel so crap about having to drive the car with the manky old 1300 again and id have more time to wait for the new engien to be ready....at this rate it might even be CF SHOW 2009 by the time i get the 1700

 

 

ho hum....off to bed i go.

antz, it does mean that you'll have all winter (wet, icy roads) to practice turning it into a drift machine

i know what you mean vista but 11 months ago when i got the idea of the engine it was to be done by cf show and yes i got my hopes up and now they are dashed so im a bit gutted....plus my dad keeps leaving me behind in his escort whenever we go anywhere.

 

its like being told your going on a secret beach holiday adn you find florida brochures dotted around the house so you get all excited...then find out its a weekend in skegness.......bummer

 

 

oh well i suppose its better than it being sat in the garage.....and at least the engine bay is cleaner than before

Well I was hoping to have my Capri all resprayed for next years shows but I'm rapidly running out of money on other things so being realistic, it's likely to have rotted away before she gets her colour change

i was also hopin to have my capper sprayed for this show season as its showin signs of its age, but the engine blew so had to replace that, so i have been waitin for a re-spray and now the season is here and my car still looks a little ratty, but hell, it goes, and at the end of the day am still keepin another classic on the road, even if its not exactly what i was hopin for by now, i know it will get ther, and so will yours, chin up mate

I had huge plans for my Anglia including new engine,suspension and paint job but the cam belt went in my Transit on Sunday so I need a new engine or a new van and then on Monday the Anglia failed it's MOT but until the Transit is sorted I can't do anything with the Anglia.

I am mega p*ssed off this week.
