brad Posted May 26, 2008 Report Posted May 26, 2008 thought it was about time to post up a couple of the old girl she's an 85 2.8 i ghia x total ground up resto re built repainted engine etc etc etc i,l let the pics do the talking unfortunatley since the pics were taken a few imperfections in the paint have shown up so its going in for a repaint again in the next couple of weeks, also the chrome under the bonnet is starting to go off so a few days polishing is on the cards AGAIN. some of you may recognise her from boxhill this weekend as the one with hydraulics , i was a little embarrased to take it there tbh due to the state of her and the fact the hydro's arent working quite as thy should be yet ,but as the weather is getting better i will have the chance to sort everything out before the next outing . thats about it .
brad Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 due to a few imperfections (no fault of the company that painted it for me) the car has had to go back to be stripped back to bare metal on the front end . hopefully will get her back this week so can get the rest of the car ready to show .
brad Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 not yet m8 , i havent even taken pics of it since fiting the hydro's i need 8new batteries for her as the ones that are in it are fooked and cant provide enough current for the pumps .

brad Posted June 15, 2008 Author Report Posted June 15, 2008 not yet m8 , i havent even taken pics of it since fiting the hydro's . Be good to see it in action, memories of the brown 'Ice Man' cortina up Chelsea Cruise aaah , chelsea cruise we all used to roll under the drive by minitruck/lowrider banner back then , ian had the tina and a couple of us had mazda minitrucks on hydraulics and crammd full of ice , thats when cruizing was cruizing believe it or not , ian still has the tina parked up by his house ! its a little worse for wear and empty now but it still runs and he's bee thinking of giving it a new lease of life .
