mk1escortmad Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Thought its about time i done a page on the sport, I bought it in 2004 off of ebay for £3100 My dad was the first owner from new in 1972 which he had for 2 yrs before trading it in for a mk3 tina GT, He is chuffed to bits to have it back in the family and drives it as much as i do! it even has the aerial he fitted 34 yrs ago still on it. Standard 1300 gt engine Original Electric blue colour 2" Blocks on rear, leda springs on front Polybushed all round 7x13 Superlites Ashley exhaust Future work:- Suspension - Get serious understeer at the mo so its something im going to look into in the near future. Engine:- thinking about putting in a mildly tuned 1.6 xflow for a bit more power
