omj624p Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Just thought I'd bring this to your attention... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... -fuel.html ''Strike action by tanker drivers could close hundreds of petrol forecourts within days'' Also there seems to be plenty of Fuel Protests being ordanised on this site, so we may be in for a bumpy ride. http://www.transaction-2007.com/ I'm actually surprised OSF isnt actively doing something as a group, as we do tent to pay lots for fuel, older cars tend to be more thirsty than modern ones. cisco24uk Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I wouldn't mind earning £36k never mind an increase lol (lonely £14k atm) I realise they do some poor hours but come on any increase above inflation should be accepted. Where I work we have only had 2 pay increases in 9 years and they were like 1.5 - 2%

Steve Yeh but thats our fault for not using new cars or fitting better more economical engines, it's a choice WE make. Lorry drivers on the other hand have no choice but to constantly get shafted and due to the rising cost of KY they have to take it DRY!
kirk10 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 im thinking of buying a thousand pounds worth of deisal and storing it in my unit might as well buy in bulk now will save a little as the prices are going up every day here and if there is a fuel strike i would be ok lol
