Car is registered, mot-d, and finished, well at least for now

Here are some recent pictures:

Yesterday I painted the letters on the wheel and put on the mk3 grille, and it's going to stay like that for a while. Bought some new and used mk2/mk3 parts also, and got a skull shifter from a friend, fits like a glove

Latest condition, it's safe in the garage, because of the bad weather outside:

Been a while since i posted so here are some updates:

Got me a 2.8i (now solex carbed :duh: ) granada engine, along with 2 gearboxes (type9 and type e).

Plan is to slightly modify it (heads, valves, cam) weber dgas, and leccy fuel pump. I plan to keep 3:44 diff for better acceleration, and maybe even, 2.0 v6 gearbox, but i'm a bit worried that it won't last long :D But, before the engine, i need to put bigger brakes (granada 2.8 complete system with capri vented discs) and power steering. The original one, which came with the engine, didnt have a servo pump, so i fitted one from a sierra xr4x4 engine, with newer mounts and pulleys, because original ones don't fit, the pump is mounted on the different side than in granada.

It will sound even better through the tunnel

If you want to convert back to k-jet...

some headwork will help but Turbocharging is the way to get power from a 2.8. If you get a turbo, manifold, linkpipe (so both manifolds feed the turbo) and intercooler, you'l be fecked without something to control the ignition and something to deliver more fuel on boost (without screwing up fueling off boost/idle) Foror a k-jet or carb turbo engine, this would be perfect

Thanx, I know turbo is the best way to go for power, but i prefer carbs, so i'll stick to one or more of them, depending on the budget
