ZetecVan 2.0 Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 No, not OSF's Twinkle. My daughters rabbit Twinkle. I'd just got in from work and Sharon says 'Ah just in time to help look for the rabbit.' Next doors dog had gone into the back garden, knocked over the hutch and the rabbit escaped. So while sharon went round the neighbours looking for Twinkle, I set about tidying up the hutch and run. Over the last few weeks Twinkle had also dug a big hole (like a burrow) in the back garden (in her run), which was about a foot deep, but went about two foot along under the garden. I filled it in to stop me from falling in it. I go after the wife and look around and we still can't find her. 'Are you sure she wasn't in the hole'. 'No' I said. 'I looked'. But I thought 'did I look deep enough'. I go back, dig up the hole and find a little white tail. Luckliy she was still moving, but the dog had frightened her so much she refused to come out, so I had to do a bit more digging, and eventually got her out. She was fine, considering I'd buried her alive for 10 mins!
