Was on the phone changing my address with the insurance people n the bloke says

 

"have you seen the new capri ford are relaunching looks a bit like a BMW 1 series"

It was talked about on here a few months back and almost universally slated. Me I kind of like it, especially:

 

An RS version, powered by a 3.2-litre six-cylinder motor and offering four-wheel drive, could also be on the cards.

It looks ok not very retro but RWD is the whole point of classic fords esp the cappa n mk1/2 escorts.....

that is imo if there going to do it at least make it look like one as said. long bonnet short arse with twin round head lights. the new stang looks like a 67-69 stang and the new capri should look like its 60s-80s fore runners

Funny how ford US can still give em a V8 RWD mustang, but over here any capri re invented worth having will be killed by legislation.

Looks crap nothing like a capri. Blame the Gov and oil company US just starts doing retro cars like mustang,camaro, charger, And the price of oil shoots up again like in the 70s when these cars were killed off the first time. Got to have rear wheel drive and not look like all the other bland boring stuff out there.
