zetecmk2 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 instead of messing about with escorts and cortinas, should i cut to the chase and build me a gt40? kooltina is being space framed so if i'm going to do all this work, doesnt it make sence to build a gt40? my best car ever, ford, and made out of metal welded together! old skool ford sticker in the windscreen!!!! opinions.....
oldbus Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 The way Escort prices are going it won´t be long before you´ll be able to swap an Escort for a GT40
4parajon Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 You can buy GT40 kit cars now, I used to do some work for a firm in the midlands called Tornado that make the kits.
hotrodholty Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 You can buy GT40 kit cars now, I used to do some work for a firm in the midlands called Tornado that make the kits. some of them kits are pretty much bang on and you'de be hard pushed to tell it apart from a real one, especially if you put a 289 in it. sell the escy tomorrow for one, the best thing to do is try and find a half built one, although i reckon you'll still be looking around £15k by the time you've finished.
