Retro-gone. Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 fitted one side for now, as usual i cant decide if i like em enough to leave em on so please vote honestly..
Copey Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 i say no, they make the car look cheap, it looks so perfect without them and in my opinion they ruin the look of the car, looks shit sorry if its blunt, just my honest opinion an i am not in the mood for beating around the bush
Retro-gone. Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 copey matey i couldnt agree more, something that looks good in your mind doesnt always look good in practise.. they are coming off i dunno why i keep trying these things cos everyone seems to like the car as it is.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted July 8, 2008 Admin Report Posted July 8, 2008 I must be tacky then cos I quite like the numbers
Mr Sam Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 if its there for a purpose...........i.e get your name down for the OSFDC keep them car looks fine without imo

Copey Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 ok calm down boys n girls, the decals are off now what else can i do to spoil ma car the only thing this car needs is metal plates, other than that the car looks perfect!!!
stevepeanut Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 and a 2litre engine. the car is so much better without the race graphics. Did anything ever come of those superslot wheels?
Retro-gone. Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 you didnt get back to me but as far as i know they are still there, i can check when i go back if you like?

zetecmk2 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 those decals looked a bit , don't give up on the idea, just get some better ones...oh..and a cage
Retro-gone. Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 erm, well i wasnt actually planning on rolling it
mk3tina Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 i think if your wanting to give it a racey look then to make it work you are actually going to have to cage it, and lower it a bit more, the white writing on the tyres was the thing that made the racing numbers suit it more, will probably need a ducktail and a chin spoiler too.
sambo Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 if your gonna do it do it properly! Get a 19.5" number circle there and some others on the car and it'll look great! That tiny little circle was poo!!
Rick Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 its your car mate, paint it pink if thats what floats your boat
mk3tina Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 could buy another one and have that all racer looking, best of both worlds then
Retro-gone. Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 just one small detail youve overlooked there....... MONEY ! capris dont grow on tree's ya know lol.
