ANY IDEAS?

hello everyone, my tina is nearly ready for mot.... well just the front valance to go. once its passed (fingers crossed) i obvisly need to get the paint work sorted.

 

now, its white with vinyl roof, when i brought it i presumed the original colour was the brown/burgundy as that’s the colour the floor and bay is.. but since having the seals and strut tops replaced it has come to light that it was originally green!

 

Now I’m having a dilemma, to either keep the colour white (poss with lotus stripe (or would that look cr*p with vinyl roof?)or take it back to its original colour.

 

i know its up to me, but i wondered if any one has an opinion on this, cause i just can make my mind up!

in my opinion (obviously) i think the lotus stripe is soooo overdone (really dnt mean to offend no1 like lol does look good ) but i do like the stripe just play around with the colours. A member on here called puddy has a red car with yellow stripe nd that looks great (check out CF this month). Put up a picture and somebody, plus me, will have a go at changing the colour for ya

If the original green's dark, why not add a silver stripe to that

Variations on the Lotus theme, can look cool, but I've gotta agree with Rik that the Lotus colours are over done ( says he with a Mex rep ) and it would look wrong with a vinal roof, thats my 2 pence worth anyway

My dad had a MK1 tina GT, in Goodwood green. My mum paid for some gold stripes to be done up the side, looked wicked. Good gal eh?

If its a MK2 do it dark green with gold Lotus stripe, that would look so cool, or just dark green with 7 x 13 Supalites

The 2 paint codes i have for the Mk2 in green are,

Spruce Green, code BZ, which is a sort of Minty green

Alpina green, code CM. which is a dark bottle green,

 

another 2 are

 

Aquatic jade is a rich emerald metallic, and fern green?? is a light green metallic, if you want the codes I will look them up for you,

If it's got a vinyl roof, I'd stick to one colour personally..

Orange black roof, mine was shite when i got it so it did'nt matter what colour it was, i think if it's not to bad keep it green as it's a shite load more work to change colour proper like, green silver stripe superlites nice!
